The people at New Wave are going to hate this. 

 

 

The Ugo small pochade box has a small mixing area. You can buy side trays but they are more for holding brushes, etc. The small box can be bought for about $160 and the trays about $30 each. The middle Ugo pochade box sells for around $180 on Amazon, the large box is around $220, again the side trays are extra.  

My solution to adding extra palette space was to design larger palettes to fit on the small Ugo pochade box.  

 

 

 

I bought two picture frames from Michaels, total cost was $16. 

 

One side of the picture glass was spray painted with a grey neutral color. 

 

 

 

I adhered metal plates to the back of the palettes at the same position of the pochade box magnetic side rail. 

 

 

 

 

I now have three different palette sizes to chose from.
